What is Aloha?

`What is Aloha

Aloha all,

May the spirit of Aloha flow abundantly in you, through you and all around you, enveloping the world.

It is time to become Aloha Ambassadors, in our presence, in our actions, in our love for all.

Alo is to be in the presence; ha is divine breath
We are imbued with aloha…it is our life breath.
It is our birthright.
We are all aloha.

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the Jesuit philosopher and spiritual father of the world wide web, once prophesized, “one day, a web will encompass the global and one word will instantaneously change the world.”

I say that word is “Aloha”

Aloha Willie

Aloha all!

Aloha is universally loved  by all who know it…and all who who know it, love universally.

Aloha is the welcome greeting in Hawaii. More than just hello, it conveys the warm hospitality of the islands, the abundant bounty of the aina, the land, and kai, the sea,  the generous nature of its people, pono, the peace and happiness that comes from harmony and balance of dualities.  Aloha is the spirit of Hawaii.

The literal meaning of the word aloha is alo ‘in the presence of’ ha ‘divine breath.’  This is the Hawaiian equivalent of namaste – ‘the divine in me, greets the divine in you.’

Thus aloha is love, affection, compassion, mercy, sympathy, pity, kindness, sentiment, grace, charity; greeting, salutation, regards; sweetheart, lover, loved one; beloved, loving, kind, compassionate, charitable, lovable; to love, be fond of; to show kindness, mercy, pity, charity, affection; to venerate; to remember with affection; to greet, hail. Greetings! Hello! Good-by! Farewell! Alas!

Aloha is the way of life in the islands.  It is also the secret sauce for the 21st century.

Aloha all,

Will
